Mixing B&W Staples for A Chic Street Style Look

I will never.grow.tired of wearing black & white. This color combo makes me feel complete. If you still need convincing that a neutral, minimalistic wardrobe is the way to go, then perhaps you and I just can't be friends any longer. Buying neutral pieces is what I always gravitate towards because it makes your dressing experience seamless. It's fun to buy a different print or color every now & then, but I feel most confident in a neutral ensemble. Take these black boots for example - would you believe that they are two years old? I have worn these so many times, yet they still look effortlessly chic. This look would be perfect for drinks with friends by throwing on a sexy pair of heels. Ditch the sleeveless trench & opt for a tailored white blazer, black dress pants & sleek pony for an important meeting. Lose the vest again and pair it with black denim cutoffs for a perfect summer-to-fall transition outfit. The options are as endless as B&W is timeless. Andrea Kinnear fucking killed it with these photos - props to her and Carol Jensky for scouting out some news spots downtown SAV to take these pics. P.S. - I wasn't lying in yesterday's post when I said to get Harper's Bazaar for some serious Monday inso. Their Fall Edition is what dreams are made of. Shop this look at the end of the post. Let me know what you think. Xoxo, Meredith
